Crash Royale is a classic crash game that is uncomplicated yet engaging. Players will try to win by exiting before a crash point is reached. The title features traditional gameplay and uncomplicated animation. But advanced betting options add an extra layer of thrill.  

The title was produced by iMoon. It’s a legitimate provider of fast games and it’s licensed in Curacao and Romania. The studio’s products are certified by iTech, GLI and BMM for different markets, including Malta and the UK. At press time, the studio is in process of acquiring the Malta and UK licenses.   

Game Features 

It’s a typical crash game that is fast-paced and exciting. There’s a line that shows the trajectory of the multiplier and a betting panel to place wagers. That’s basically it. You make a bet, watch the multiplier and exit before it crashes.  

No bonus features or anything is available. This is a classic title with very basic visuals and animation. However, there are some cool betting options. By introducing extra betting features, iMoon was able to bring something fresh without changing the game itself.  

How to Play Crash Royale 

Everything about this game is super simple. You have a multiplier that grows fast until it crashes. Players make a bet, and once the action begins, they wait for the right moment to cash out. If they fail to do that before the crash point is reached, they lose.  

The fact that gamblers can affect the outcome is what makes Crash Royale and similar games so thrilling. But deciding on the cash out point is a challenge. Taking risks can bring better rewards, but it can as well cost players their bet.  

How Much You Can Win in Crash Royale? 

The max multiplier is x999.99, and its lowest value is x1.01. The figure increases by x0.01, which happens really fast. Unlike other crash games, Crash Royale will sometimes give players no chance of winning because the crash points can be x0. So, all players lose in this situation, which happens on average once in every 30-50 rounds.  

RTP 

Average return is a whopping 99%. But that’s only if you play the perfect Crash Royale game. iMoon does explain the optimal strategy, and that is to cash out at smaller multipliers. That’s because a higher multiplier means greater risk of losing. 

The studio says that the RTP is above 98% when the crash point is x14.23 or lower. The figure drops to below 97% when the crash point is x30.29. So, if you really want to maximize the average return, make sure you don’t chase big wins. If exiting too early isn’t your cup of tea, then the option is to at least cash out before x14.23. 

Crash Royale Betting 

This isn’t a typical crash game in terms of betting options. It’s much more advanced, but players can still choose a classic betting panel. Placing a bet is simple and for the most part is intuitive. But you’ll probably need some experience in demo mode to get used to certain things that are different.  

Players can place two bets in one round when they choose a classic betting panel. It’s possible to make a bet while a current round is in progress and once it is over, gamblers have 7 seconds to make a bet and join the action for a next round. One second after bets are closed a round begins.  

Betting Panels 

It’s exciting how much more advanced the betting panel is in Crash Royale. You have Classic, Over/Under and Range options. If you choose Over/Under or Range modes, you can’t manually cash out. Together with the Insurance option, these extra betting panels definitely make it a more exciting experience.  

• Classic panel is what you’ll typically find in crash games. You can place two bets and set the Auto Cashout value.  
• Over/Under panel offers players to choose the Crash Point, and the game automatically produces Over and Under values. For instance, for a Crash Point of x2, the Over value is x1.98 and the Under value is x1.9. You choose one of them. If you bet Over x1.98, then you win if the crash point is at least 1.98. Betting on the Under x1.9 means you win if the crash point is lower or equal 1.9.  
• Range. Here, Crash Royale players choose a crash point range. Depending on the range, they are offered a certain win multiplier. The bigger the range, the smaller is the potential payout. The min and max crash point values are 1.01 and 24, respectively. If you select this range, you can only win x1.05 if the crash point lands within this range. 

Insurance 

The game offers a unique option, which is Insurance. When it’s enabled, you don’t lose when the crash point is x0. As mentioned earlier in this Crash Royale review, this can happen once every 30-50 rounds, and if you get Insurance, your bet will be returned to your balance. Insurance is reserved exclusively for this scenario. This feature isn’t free. You pay 10% of every win when Insurance is enabled.  

Provably Fair 

The crash point is randomly generated for each round before it begins. The algorithm produces a SHA-256 hash, which translates to a specific crash point. Two identical SHA-256 hashes mean two identical round outcomes.  

To verify any Crash Royale round, players get an MD5 checksum of an upcoming round. After the round is over, the hash is revealed and you can compare its MD5 value with the one that was released before the round. If the two match, then the round fairness is verified.   

When a round is in progress, you get only its MD5 value. But once it’s over, you have both Hash and MD5 for comparison. To find these values, open the Results or your History window. To verify the outcome, simply open the game Settings menu and choose a Rocket icon. You’ll be asked to enter a hash, then press the Calculate button to see MD5 value and the multiplier value. 

Crash Royale Bonuses 

iMoon provides gaming operators with tools necessary to reward players. In 2023 it launched the Bonus System that allowed casinos to offer personalized rewards that suit the players’ gameplay patterns. So, if any gaming site wants to add that extra engagement level for Crash Royale fans, they have the tool to do that.  

It isn’t common to have special crash game bonuses. What players can do is explore regular rewards that are designed primarily for slots. But it’s important that you read bonus T&Cs, and contributions of different games, in particular.  

Crash Royale Demo

Conclusion 

iMoon produced a wonderful crash game. Its Crash Royale stays true to the uncomplicated nature of this type of content but adds that extra layer of thrill by offering an extensive set of betting options. Insurance and three betting modes make a big difference.
