Game Shows review
Football Studio has been designed to offer simple gameplay and an exciting atmosphere of a sports event. Home and Away teams clash to determine the winner. This time, the battle lasts just a couple of seconds as two cards are drawn, and the top one determines a winner.
Playing Football Studio Live
The betting panel has only three options. You can select one of the two teams or draw. After a wager is placed and bets are closed, a game host draws one card for each team. The team with the highest card wins, and if you have picked it, then you get 1:1 payout.
It’s possible that both cards will be of the same value, which leads to Draw with a payout of 11:1. In this case, all team bets lose. However, it’s only a 50% loss. The other half is credited back to your balance. Players are allowed to place a Draw bet and a Team bet at the same time, but they can’t wager on both teams.
Football Studio RTP
This is where you can clearly see why this title can be a bad choice. Because average payback is 96.27% and 89.64% for Team and Draw bets, respectively. That’s typical for RTP to decrease when it’s a higher risk wager. But 89.64% is something a lot of players won’t tolerate.
The payback seems even more of an issue when you compare it to the RTPs of a very similar Football Studio Dice. The difference with Football Studio is that dice totals and not card values are used to determine a winner. But this dice variation offers 97.75% and 95.68% for Team and Draw wagers, which seems to be a much better option.
Conclusion
Football Studio is a fun little game that takes place in a modern studio. It’s fast-paced and can be an appealing choice for football fans in particular. However, its low RTP is something to consider, especially when there are similar releases with a better average payback.
