The slot remains very well recognizable even though the background is different. But it’s the signature pillars and an unconventional gravity engine that tie Cygnus 4 with all previous versions of this fantastic slot.  

Features 

The key to the popularity of this series is the unique gravity engine that makes it stand out from the rest of the slots. The area between two pillars is filled with round symbols and they slide both sides following the force of gravity. To boost the fun level there are other key features. 

Avalanche 

Cascading wins are one of the reasons this mechanics is so thrilling. Winning symbols would disappear letting other icons fill their spots and possibly form new combinations. To win you money, similar symbols just need to be on adjacent reels left to right.  

To make this feature even more exciting, there’s an additional row added after cascades and the initial four rows can very quickly turn into 8. As a result, you get more win ways. 

Multiplier 

Cygnus 4, just like its predecessors, doesn’t award multipliers too easily. First you have to land a special multiplier symbol, then it must roll all the way to the left and touch the pillar or drop to the bottom of the reel set. When it does reach its final destination, in addition to activating a multiplier, it turns wild.  

The multiplier grows but resets between every base game round. During free drops, it grows until the round ends. To keep track of the current multiplier progress, there’s a left pillar. Initially the top value is 16, but the pillar is three sided and it rotates to reveal values up to 32 and after another rotation the top win is the max slot payout of 50,000x.

To earn that rotation, there’s another feature symbol, and just like the multiplier symbol it should touch the bottom or the left pillar to unleash its power.  

Free Drops 

The process of getting the bonus round activated is similar to the multiplier and level-up activations. A special Cygnus 4 bonus symbol reaches the left pillar to trigger the feature. Just one of them in the right spot is all you need. But this time reaching the bottom won’t do the trick. Not to waste any bonus symbols, those that dropped all the way to the bottom but failed to touch the left pillar, would be dropped again.
