Stake Casino has been playing with fire for some times, launching its aggressive social media marketing campaigns. One particular advertising campaign that featured an adult movie actress, got the UK Gambling Commission’s attention.
Following the investigation, the regulator had a meeting with the company that operates the Stake website in the UK. The operator assured that they will be closing the British website by March 11.
The regulator also informed that they will contact football clubs that have sponsorship deals with Stake. The Commission wants the assurance from these clubs that they won’t be promoting unlicensed sites.
