The only limitation is that expansion only goes down and never up. So, you would want these symbols as high as possible.
Santa isn’t the only Wild in this slot. Any Gift can also substitute for any regular icon. And when the expansion covers the Gift, the latter one produces an up to x200 multiplier.
Free Spins
A trio of scatters activates Night Before Xmas. You get 10 free spins with more Wilds of both types. And another set of 3 scatters extends the bonus game by 4 spins. That’s basically it. One more thing that can happen is the upgrade to a different bonus game, but only when four scatters land.
