Court of North Holland Orders a Gambling Company to Pay €200,000+ Back to Its Player
A player from the Netherlands won a lawsuit against N1 Interactive. The decision was published on November 14, and it says that because the company provided its services without a local license, its agreement with the player is annulled.
The court ordered N1 to pay the plaintiff’s legal costs of over €5,000 plus €207,983.62, which is the total amount of money the company received from the player, minus all the payments the player received as withdrawals.
This is just one of the series of lawsuits filed against casino companies by Dutch players. In this case, the court determined that Dutch law is applicable. The Malta licensed company didn’t show up at court.
