Curacao Assures That Casinos Operating Illegally in Foreign Markets Will Be Held Accountable

Earlier this year, the Australian gaming regulator contacted Curacao asking for cooperation in fighting Curacao licensed online casinos illegally operating in Australia. The parties have since met and agreed to work together and hold gaming sites, which violate Australian laws, accountable.

During the meeting, Curacao explained that under the new regulations operators that currently hold a license will have to re-apply for it once new rules come into effect this September. And breaking the law in other countries will negatively affect their chances of getting a license.

The Australian regulator has already provided the list of operators that illegally operate in their market. And Curacao assured that this list will be considered when assessing operators.
