In 2024, Spelinspektionen reviewed Videoslots Casino Duty of Care practices. The regulator examined what system the operator had in place to prevent excessive gambling and a dozen real cases. It wasn’t satisfied with the findings.
Videoslots argued that their practices comply with all regulations, and that the regulator should provide more detailed guidelines on this matter. But the regulator decided that failings were serious and issued a 12 million SEK fine. That’s around 1.095 million EUR at press time.
