Stake Casino Lost $41 Million Worth of Cryptos to a Recent Hack. FBI Identified the Criminals
On September 4, an estimated $41 million worth of crypto currency was stolen from Stake Casino. The operator confirmed the theft, but assured that player funds are safe, and it’s the casino’s ETH/BSC hot wallets, where they keep a small portion of their reserves, were affected.
Two days after the hack, the FBI identified that Lazarus Group, also known as APT38, was behind the heist. This is a North Korean group that is responsible for a number of other multi-million hacks.
