Within the first few days of 2023, we had the first massive jackpot win. On January 5, Mega Moolah Mega jackpot awarded a lucky winner €6,753,702.85. No details has emerged, but the official Microgaming data confirms the win.
The jackpot amount was approaching €10 million when it was hit. The difference can be explained by the fact that the jackpot was hit in currency other than EUR. The rest of the money was added to the starting value of the next pot.
The Mega jackpot dropped to around €4 million after the win. It has now grown to over €4,2 million. In 2022 the seed value of the Mega jackpot was doubled from €1 to €2 million.
