It’s an exciting online slot that is developed by MrWuOriginals together with AvatarUX. The two studios have released a couple of projects before, such as Nugget and Donkey & The Goats. And visually, Floridaman has a similar artwork style. 

Features 

There are three key features that are available in both base and bonus modes. In addition, there’s a thing called ZapReel, which is a horizontal reel that has four regular positions that can have regular symbols or multipliers, and one position that serves as a jail for unused Wilds.  

Jailed Wilds 

The main character is a free spirit who has fun taming alligators and getting into trouble. That’s why he gets locked up whenever he appears and is not part of a winning combination. Players will be happy to see him locked up because they know that this isn’t for long, and once the opportunity arises, the guy breaks out and lands in the reels. 

During the bonus round, the last spin is the culmination of the feature as all jailed Wilds will be released at once. This can potentially bring players some impressive wins.  

Floridaman Attack 

This feature can get triggered randomly. When no winning combinations are left, some high value symbols can turn Wild. But that’s not the end of the story. If these Wilds aren’t used immediately, they are jailed and are released at some point later, along with already collected Wilds.  

Mystery Splits 

This is another random feature. When it activates, symbols are split, which results in more win ways and expanded reels. But as splitting takes place, all split symbols reveal the same icon.  

Bonus Game 

Floridaman offers up to 16 free spins per bonus trigger. But you can’t naturally trigger this many spins. You’ll either have to buy them or use the Gamble Wheel. The more bonus symbols land the more free spins are released. 3, 4, 5 and 6 of them unlock up to 8, 10, 12 and 14 bonus rounds respectively.  

The number of spins is random. Players will have to choose between the Gamble and Collect wheels. The difference is that the Gamble Wheel can get more spins and more initial win ways, but also has losing segments. Whereas, the Collect Wheel is more balanced and has only winning segments.  

Swamp Fever  

The feature can only be triggered during the bonus game. It’s random, and awards +2 spins and higher chances of activating the Floridaman Attack.  

Bonus Buy  

There are five bonus buy options that cost x50, x100, x150, x200 and x500. The more you pay, the better deal you can get. If you choose the most expensive option, then you are guaranteed 16 FS. Cheaper options offer a random number of spins.  

There’s another option, which is to enable the Ante Bet for x1.25. This will double the chances of entering the bonus game.  

Conclusion 

Floridaman is a fun slot with plenty of exciting features and great visuals. Wilds are the key element, but there are also multipliers and the split mechanic to appreciate. And by introducing Gamble and Collect Wheels, plus multiple bonus buy options, the studio gives players plenty of control over how much risk they are willing to take.
