Basic Information
Slot Review
The slot falls into the Labs category, which means a somewhat experimental approach was used to create it. So, expect a different type of beast. No traditional looks, no traditional gameplay. In each round Kill Em All throws a monster at you, and the goal is to kill it. Every kill is a win.
Game Overview
The ultimate goal is to kill all the monsters. But you won’t be doing it with your bare hands. The 3×1 grid supplies players with weapons. It spins just like a three-reel and one line slot would do. But any symbol that lands there is used to do damage to a monster. A payout is received once a monster is killed.
Nolimit City added multiple levels to the game, which makes it more engaging. When monsters are eliminated one after another, this grants players an upgrade. There can be several upgrades, and each time there are bigger prizes and more boosters.
This game isn’t for everyone. But it’s fun and offers a different gaming experience. So, if you are interested in unconventional online slots, playing Kill Em All in a demo won’t be a waste of time.
Slot Features
Everything is pretty simple. Yes, it’s a typical online slot, but things are intuitive here. Any character you’ll see is your enemy. It stands between you and treasures that are hidden deep in the dungeon. So, you’ll have to get rid of this monster and any other that follows.
Weapons
On the 3×1 slot, you’ll have up to 3 weapons in each spin. There are four weapons from a small dagger to a massive two-blade axe. The more powerful the weapon, the more serious the damage done to a monster. So, they will take 1, 2, 3 and 4 lives.
Prize Chests
Prizes are collected from chests. One defeated monster is at least one chest. Behind each character you can see the type of chest you’ll be awarded for defeating it. There are four levels of them: brown, blue, green and red, and their max payouts are x15, x50, x200 and x1,000, respectively.
Some of the chests can reveal one of the boosters:
- Prize upgrade
- Up to x5 win multiplier
- Regular/Super Bonus icons
- Two prizes instead of one
- +2 respins in the main game or +2 FS for bonus features
- Green potion reduces the number of monster lives to 1
- Silver Sword is used to hit a creature until it’s dead. Each hit awards up to x15 win.
Monsters
This is where Kill Em All adds some complexity. There are multiple monsters, and every 4th one is a boss. You’ll need to go through as many of them as possible without losing. The end of the road for you is when you finish the main boss that looks like a very badass devil.
There are four Levels, and each level comes with monsters that have a different number of lives.
- Up to 4 lives
- Up to 5 lives
- Up to 6 lives
- Up to 10 lives
Defeating every 4th creature awards a level up, which means bigger prizes and some boosters. And Kill Em All slot players get closer to the final battle.
Level Up
When gamblers defeat a boss monster, they go to the next level and receive one of six level-up modifiers. There can be max 3 of them at a time but no more than 2 similar boosters at a time. Here’s what you can get:
- More prizes for defeating a boss.
- Weapons are upgraded to the next level.
- Bigger prizes because chests receive an upgrade.
- Golden Sword is used to damage or kill a monster, and every hit produces up to x15 win.
- Up to x5 multiplier that remains sticky. If there are two multipliers, their sum is applied.
- Attack, Attack, Attack!! This modifier is to take monster lives.
Kill Em All Bonus Rounds
Occasionally, you’ll see keys pop up on the screen. These are collected to unlock bonus features. 3 regular keys open the door to a regular bonus with 5 spins and +1 for every weapon landed during the feature. The features and progressions that players have in the main game will be carried over to the bonus round.
If one of three keys is bigger and comes with a crown, gamblers enter an upgraded version of the bonus. It’s similar to the above mentioned one. But instead of three, there can be max 4 level-up boosters at a time. Play Kill Em All for free and buy the two bonuses to see what they can offer.
Bonus Buy
There are multiple paid options. For testing purposes, buying a bonus straight away for x90 (regular bonus) or x200 (upgraded version) is the best option. But when in real mode, you can as well consider some other alternatives.
- Cheaper options are also there. For instance, buying a single Bonus/Super Bonus icon. Boss Fight for x15 sends you straight to fighting the first boss that has just 1 life. So, it’s much easier to climb to the next level. Boosted Chest for x70 is the option that awards a top-level chest for killing any monster.
- Kill Em All online slot also has some very expensive features for sale. God Mode for x2,500 and God Mode Nightmare for x800. The difference between them is significant. Both send players to fight the ultimate boss that has 9 lives. A cheaper option offers 5 spins with no respins, whereas the other option awards just one spin. Lucky Draw is a 50/50 option for x1,650.
Extra Spin is another thing to mention. Demo Kill Em All to see that at the end of the feature, if you didn’t make it to the very end, there will be an option to buy the Extra Spin. The cost varies depending on the win potential. But there should be enough of your current winnings to pay for the feature.
Game Stats
The slot comes with five RTP settings, from 96.06% down to 84.08%. But each variation of the slot has more RTPs. Open the Game Info file to see how bonus buys affect the RTP. The figure increases when gamblers pay for a feature. But this increase is subtle.
The biggest RTP gain is when the God Mode Nightmare is activated. In such cases, the 96.06% figure increases to 96.21%. The info page also says that to get an optimal return, Extra Spin mentioned earlier in this Kill Em All slot review, shouldn’t be used.
Volatility is extreme with hit frequency at 16.47% and bonus landing on average 1 in 273 spins. These figures are quite low compared to some other Nolimit City slots within approximately the same max win range.
Max win is x11,916. And it lands on average 1 in 350,000. That perfectly explains lower hit and bonus frequencies. Because the top prize in Kill Em All slot lands very frequently compared to slots with approximately similar max prizes. So, basically, you don’t win too frequently and don’t get bonuses too often. But your chances of hitting the top prize are high.
Conclusion
Kill Em All is an experimental product that blends slot and video game worlds. Studios often reuse existing slot patterns over and over again. The same features, the same everything… Even themes are similar. So, this title is a breath of fresh air, which is great even if it doesn’t make it to our slot ratings.
Give this slot a few test spins if you are looking for something different. Use the feature buy options to explore all the things it can offer. Good thing is that the max win isn’t crazy, and its hit rate is pretty high, which makes it suitable for a wider range of players.
