The game has a 3-6-6-6-3 layout with a special Cross area in the middle. This area is where the most exciting actions take place and Wilds can only land there.
xMechanics
xActivation. This is the key feature, and it also uses the Cross area. When a special xActivator symbol lands in the base game, it awards one respin. 3 positions of the Cross will be activated, and symbols, located on the special xCrucifix reel next to the main layout, will fill the area.
Another xActivator during a respin will activate one more position, remove the lowest value symbols from the xCrucifix reel and award another respin. This process will repeat until the entire Cross area is activated.
xNudge Wild. Any Wild symbol produces more Wilds on the Cross. And the placement of that symbol is important. When it stops in the joint of the Cross, the entire special area turns Wild and x2 multiplier is awarded. Otherwise, only the central part of the Cross transforms into Wild. To cover the reel, the Wild would nudge up or down, upgrading the multiplier +1 for every nudge.
xWays and Infectious xWays. This slot marks the return of the Infectious xWays, one of the less commonly used xMechanics. xWays in Possessed awards 2-3 similar symbols. Infectious xWays won’t only award more symbols, but also infect similar symbols so that they expand.
xBet. By activating the xBet for 2.5x base bet, players get 5 times higher chances of landing free spins.
Free Spins
There are three levels of the free spins, and the difference between them is not only in the number of free spins. More advanced levels also unlock more active areas on the Cross, which means higher chances of landing a big win.
- Necromancy Spins. 3 scatters award 9 FS and 3 active positions on the Cross.
- Atonement Spins. 4 scatters award 12 FS and 4 active positions.
- Beelzebub Spins. 4 scatters award 15 FS and the entire Cross active.
