Twitch Expands Its List of Prohibited Gambling Sites. Blaze and Gamdom Are Added

On August 2, Twitch announced that they added two more gambling operators to the list of prohibited casinos. Blaze and Gamdom joined Stake, Rollbit, Duelbits, and Roobet and cannot be streamed on Twitch anymore.

The list can be further expanded. As Twitch CEO, Dan Clancy, has recently clarified, regulated gambling is allowed and they only have issues with offshore unregulated sites. Not any license is ok. To be allowed on Twitch, casinos must be licensed in the US or other reputable jurisdictions with sufficient consumer protections and offer responsible gambling tools such as deposit limits and waiting periods.

Blaze is a popular casino in Latin America, and rich enough to sign a contract with Neymar Jr. The famous football player is supposed to stream Blaze on Twitch for 4 years. His first stream was in January 2023. Now that Blaze is banned on Twitch, there must be some changes to the terms of the contract.
