To honor the importance of the original, the developer revealed some interesting facts about its creation.
Turns out, they came up with the extremely volatile math even before they released Tombstone but didn’t dare to use it because it was so volatile. Remember, the slot world was different back then, and extreme volatility wasn’t common. That’s why Hot Nudge, which is the first xNudge slot, received an adjusted version of the now popular engine. To decrease volatility in Hot Nudge, they removed the sticky multiplier from free spins and made it a lines game.
But as soon as they finished Hot Nudge, the team was determined to use the feature in its original form. That’s how they came up with the idea of Tombstone, the slot that had xNudge as volatile as it was supposed to be. As they were creating the slot, they had to answer some important questions.
