If you look through the list, you’ll notice that there are a lot of sequels to popular slots. Often both sequels and originals would rank high. Pragmatic Play is, obviously, the champion in this category, delivering a ton of new installments of their popular games. And it seems like their strategy works great.
Exceptional performance of Gates of Olympus 1000 released in 2023 showed that there’s appetite for higher win potential and multipliers. In 2024, they released Sugar Rush 1000, Sweet Bonanza 1000 and even Gates of Olympus Xmas 1000. And they all landed within the Top 5.
Le Bandit and its 2024 sequel, Le Pharaoh, also performed extremely well, landing 17th and 20th, respectively. There are also other slightly modified versions of older hits that players loved to play.

Pragmatic Play hasn’t eased its grip on the slots vertical. For three years in a row, from 2022 to 2024, this developer has been a dominant leader. In fact, so dominant that there are no real contenders to threaten its status.
As you can see from the rating, Pragmatic Play has a strategy of capitalizing on their existing hits. The company reuses the same gameplay over and over, rolling out reskins and continuously extending its popular series.
2024 was the year of ‘1000’ versions, where the studio boosted random multiplier values to 1,000 in a series of its slots. Max win was also increased.
The Runner-up
There’s quite a competition for the rest of the top 10 positions. Hacksaw Gaming jumped from 6th place in 2023 to 2nd in 2024. The studio shows quite a strong performance with each release drawing plenty of attention.
